April Punk Anarchy at Crannk

In the Australian punk scene this month we have some rad stuff happening from album releases to some international favourites from America and Japan. 

Australian Releases include the debut album from Broken English Leave which is out on the 5th(Check out our review for Broken English here)and the new album from Melbourne band Clowns – Nature/Nurture out on the 12th.
Turbo Nun Entertainment Group are putting on shows for Tokyo blues punk trio Mustang Jerx around the end of April and the start of May(More info on this one here ). This tour has some awesome local support from Australian Kingswood Factory, Quaid, Sordid Ordeal and Udder Ubductees.

Arrest Records Australia are putting on shows for American punkers Zebrahead and Death By Stereo.All Hope Remains are opening one of the Melbourne shows.

US punkers Guttermouth are also doing an Australian tour this month with some great local support acts like Agent 37, Garlic Nun, Rathead, Stoned To Death, The Shorts, Undamaged, Von Stache and Wolfpack.

US celtic punk rock band Flogging Molly are playing shows in Melbourne Wed 17th and Sydney Thu 18th.


Mexican ska punk band Los Kung Fu Monkeys are doing an Australian tour this month with local ska band The Resignators. One of the shows on the tour is a Ska Nation show in Melbourne on Friday the 19th with local Australian bands Area 7, The Allniters and Admiral Ackbar’s Dishonorable Discharge.

An international 4 way split called “Bridging Oceans” featuring Bare Teeth (France), Down Memory Lane  (Canada), Nerdlinger  (Australia) and SHAMES (Japan) is out on the 26th. (Purchase HERE)
