Hailing out of Sydney, Australia is Black Trillium a Death/Doom Metal act formed by good friends Simon Skipper (guitar, vocals) and Zachary Carlsson (vocals, bass).
Black Trillium recently released their 5 track, 39-minute epic tale of doom and despair “The Fatal Shore” which was inspired by Australia’s convict history and tells the tale of a prisoner sent away to a foreign, desolate penal colony.
I caught up with Simon and Zach to talk about their latest release “The Fatal Shore“, and all things Black Trillium.
