Crannk Interviews Deified Vocalist Jamie Hughes

Fast-rising up through the British underground metal ranks are the razor-sharp unit of Merseyside Metallers Deified who deliver dark poignant metal that doesn’t shy away from the issues to deliver a powerful style of metal that is reminiscent of bands like The Haunted, DevilDriver and Lamb Of God. When I first heard Deified I was immediately hooked and wanted to hear more, Jamie’s vocal delivery is right on point heavy, brutal but also doesn’t get lost among it all with a real clarity amongst the brutality and has a style similar to Randy Blythe of LOG. Deified formed in 2013 and really have developed a solid reputation in the UK with 2 Eps Lo & Behold, Inhuman Manifesto an album Ascension, and Deified are not slowing down anytime soon with their latest EP “Anthrobscene” set for release May 29th. I recently caught up with vocalist Jamie to talk about the Ep, artwork and all thing Deified. Check it out then go Crannk it LOUD \m/
