Hailing out of Melbourne, Australia is Cicadastone an Alt-rock band that combines influences from the 90’s Grunge/ Alt Rock scene with a modern edge and intensity which truly makes for a memorable meaningful musical experience. Formed in 2013 by brothers Mat and Mark Robins who have a wealth of musical knowledge and experience to their name. Cicadastone released their debut album “Chance Collide” in 2016 and more recently released two singles “Box Of Anger” April 8th and “Dying In Sunshine” June 18th, from their forthcoming album “Cold Chamber” slated for release later in 2020. I recently caught up with Vocalist/Guitarist/founder Mat Robins for a really great chat about all things Cicadastone and his musical journey so far.
