Constantine is a modern metal guitar virtuoso hailing out of Athens,Greece who began playing guitar at the age of 12 and that evolved into soaring solo’s shredding guitar riffs, and just simply an exceptional musician of the highest caliber. Over the years he has played with Nightrage (2007), Descending (2008-2012), Mystic Prophecy (2008-2012), Nightfall (2010-2013), Primal Fear (2012). After almost 9 years he has returned with his second solo album and most promising release yet “Aftermath” released yesterday through Rockshots Records and follows on from his 2010 solo release “Shredfest“.”Aftermath” is a modern metal masterpiece jammed full of guests, riffs and inspired compositions and collaborations encompassing multiple genres of heavy metal, and you’d expect nothing less from a musician of Constantine’s caliber and technicality.

The first track “Bushido” is an instrumental and as in this whole album showcases the talented guitarist Constantine at his most comfortable with a guitar in hand. The next track “Hellfire Club” features Soilwork vocalist Bjorn ”Speed” Strid and as a Soilwork fan I really enjoyed this track and lyrics.Track 3 “Press On Regardless” has the talented Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear singing this inspiring song. Track 4 “Another Day” and track 6 “Deliver Us” features a uplifting performances from Swedish vocalist Apollo Papathanasio (Spiritual Beggars , Firewind). “Holding On Till The End” track 5 has Chris Clancy from Mutiny Within and Wearing Scars on vocals and this is track along with “Hellfire Club” and “Press On Regardless” are my favourite tracks on “Aftermath

Elegy” has Bill Manthos singing on this track and leads into an amazing track to go out on “War & Pain” featuring the irrepressible Schmier from legendary thrash metal band Destruction, this by far is the heaviest and thrashiest song on the album and as a die hard thrasher was very impressed. If you love amazing displays of guitar great music and metal ballads to sing along with “Aftermath” is the album for you.It was released world wide yesterday through Rockshots Records and is a must for all metal heads.\m/ For all things Constantine related check out the links below.
