Grinding out of the Central Coast of NSW, Australia is the extreme blood-drenched metal duo of Alannah and Tom who are Carnal Viscera. Carnal Viscera delivers the extreme blast beats, intense riffs, and a beauty in brutality. If Grind House films were a band good chance they would be Carnal Viscera.
I first come across Carnal Viscera through Malodorous Discharge/Wounded Pig and the track “Fetal Abduction” in 2018 and then was equally excited and impressed when I first heard the track “Cemetary Chainsaw Casket Fuck” Carnal Viscera did with Malodorous Discharge. I was meant to catch up with Tom and Alannah at the Port Pirie leg of Metal United Down Under put on by Dan Pearse False Flag Promotions and Michael Lueders of Black Roos,Metal Roos, so instead we caught up for a chat through messenger about Carnal Viscera, Tom’s Art and graphic design work he does as Tropical Decay and the forthcoming debut EP for Carnal Viscera.
