Crannk Reviews “The Adventures of Brodown and the Mutant Pizza Goblin from Outer Space” from BRODOWN

Brodown is a 3 piece punk rock group from Melbourne, Australia. This band has been around for a while now and have released some great tunes already like “Love at Centrelink” and “Free Beer” from the 2015 release titled “What Could Possiblye Go Wrong”
Brodown’s new album is called “The Adventures of Brodown and the Mutant Pizza Goblin from Outer Space”, this release is 8 new songs that all have that special appeal we liked on their last outing.
The opening track “Shit Hit the Fan” sets the pace well, distorted power chords and blistering drums are present right from the start but by the end you’ve heard songs that sound like melodic hardcore or Oi! through to skate punk and pop punk. All the usual Aussie lingo mixed into songs about beer, food and social etiquette with some really catchy vocal hooks (see Pizza Drunk).

Brodown is Pat Bro/Kenna – guitar/vocals Josh Bro/Riley – bass/vocals Lebro Lionheart – drums
