Days Like These Shares New Single “Show Me Love”

TOURING ACROSS THE EAST COAST THIS APRIL
WITH THE LAST MARTYR, HEADWRECK + LIVE LIKE ANIMALS

Sydney-based alt-rock sweethearts Days Like These release sugary sweet new tune Show Me Love and will embark on an East Coast tour to celebrate in April.

Show Me Love is the first sign of new music in 2024 from Days Like These, following the direction and energy of their late 2023 single PRIMADONNA. Tantalizing dance-pop grooves and baselines with an overcoat of soulful vocal performances sets the scene for the new single before switching gears into an explosive chorus that showcases the band in an arena rock space. Vocalist Callen Batson explains, “Show Me Love explores feeling lost and out of touch with the day to day comings and goings of life, and begs for reinvigoration.”

Working with producer and long-time collaborator Chris Lalic (Windwaker), Show Me Love is the second single to be released since last year’sICON EP drop, which marked the start of a fresh and newly inspired era for Days Like These.

As part of the release of the new single, Days Like These will be taking Show Me Love on tour across the East Coast of Australia in April, with support from The Last Martyr, Headwreck and Live Like Animals – tickets on sale now!

Featuring in the setlist will be tunes from Days Like These glitzy sophomore EP ICON‘. The EP revisited the duo’s alt rock roots, combining driving rock foundations with splashes of glowing alternative charisma, forming the bridge between where the duo left off with their 2021 EP, Wide Awake and where they see themselves moving forward.

Their sophomore EP raked in over 200,000 Spotify streams and counting and saw the duo travel around the country main supporting Against The Current (US) in late September. The EP featured singles ICON, Oblivion ft. Death Tour and Bloodshed. Each single was welcomed warmly by triple j with spins on multiple programs, and both Oblivion and Bloodshed found placement on ABC Rage, with Oblivion making it as feature video for a week in April. Bloodshed was also played on Channel 7 Friday Night AFL on release day.

Days Like These is Callen Batson (vocals) and Noah Murphy (drums/vocals). The band burst onto the scene in 2018 and has worked tirelessly to become one of Sydney’s most exciting up-and-coming alt-rock acts. After the release of their debut EP ‘Wide Awake’ in May of 2021, the duo soared and became a staple in the scene, supporting sold-out shows with the likes of Black Veil Brides, Northlane and Polaris

Show Me Love is available and streaming everywhere now.
