Hailing out of the Tamworth/Canberra regions of NSW are Hellsworth’s Heaviest Honest Crooks a band that has worked tirelessly since forming in 2014 to earn the mantle as Australia’s Kings Of Slam and Beatdown. Honest Crooks has toured Oz multiple times and managed to bring out new music almost every year since 2015 except in 2018 when Brodie took over vocal duties, and they got right back to work with the “Damage Control” EP in 2019. Honest Crooks recently released their latest single “No Rest” and announced that they had signed with EVP Recordings. The new single ‘No Rest‘ was Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Elliott Gallart Chameleon Sound and the video was shot and edited by Colin Jeffs Ten Of Swords Media Collective. Brodie Graham, vocalist for Honest Crooks, says that “…No Rest is a song for the people that think we don’t deserve to be given the opportunities we receive. We have sacrificed careers, relationships and our own mental and physical health to be where we are today. To discredit that is a personal attack. No Rest is a story about hard work, perseverance and reigning on top but also a story of how jealousy and disrespect will only hold you back.”

I recently caught up with Bassist Lewy Glass for what was a really great chat about “No Rest”, the signing with EVP and what’s next for Honest Crooks. Check it out and then go crannk up Hellsworths Heaviest.
