King Parrot with Disentomb, Pagan and local support As I Destruct At the Adelaide Uni Bar.

There are things that are typically Australian, Vegemite, VB, Barbies, AC/DC and King Parrot and if you have not heard of Knig Parrot you will. Because this is a band who have manged to grind there way around the world to rave live reviews led by the distinct sound King Parrot have with Youngy up front with his unique voice and energy.

I got to see King Parrot last week at the Adelaide Uni Bar On the Australian run of the Ugly Produce Tour, with the guys just getting back from a run of shows in the US and Europe.

Local supports As I Destruct started the night(and sorry I didn’t get pics of these guys,I’ll play a clip from all supports below) Followed by Pagan then Disentomb.

King Parroy have such a great energy when it comes to live shows always getting the crowd pumped up it’s great as a fan to see the interaction King Parrot have with the audience.

Slatts he is a bass playing machine fueled by the sparkling ember essence that is Melbourne Bitter and mate Youngy’s unique voice is even better live. King Parrot played an AC/DC song  Nervous Shakedown in tribute to the late great Malcolm Young. As I Destruct singer joined the stage with King Parrot for a song with Youngy which was really cool to see. It was an awesome night and being a thursday was great to see the crowd turn up in support.

I also got to take my lad as an 18th birthday present for his first show which is always a blast but to see the smile on his face after King Parrot finished was what a night with King Parrot is all about great music and having a laugh. King Parrots latest album is Ugly Produce CRANNK it up. Photo’s from the night are up on CRANNK’s facebook page.
